From 2nd April, European nationals (see the full list here: https://lnkd.in/dHd6jDAs) will need the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to travel to the UK. You will not need it, if you have a visa, permission to live, work or study in the UKย or you are a British citizen (full list, please check here: https://lnkd.in/dvVz3yVd)
๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐? Currently the authorisation costs ยฃ10, but the fee will increase on 9th April to ยฃ16.
๐๐ผ๐ ๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ด ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐? ETA allows multiple visits for up to six months at a time over two years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐น๐? The easiest way to apply is through the UK ETA app (available on Google Play and the Apple App Store). Alternatively, applications can be submitted via this link: https://lnkd.in/dPTXdeNX Decisions are usually made within minutes, but Home Office suggests to allow three working days, though some cases may take longer.
In order to apply you will need to:
Pay the fee
Provide contact and passport details
Submit a valid digital photo
Answer a set of questions
